Our German courses usually start in September. It is possible to join any time during the course. Please contact us so that we can recommend the best German course for you. The language courses in German take place at our language school "Sprachzentrum Süd" in Holzkirchen, near Munich.

Additional course information
German A1

In the German course A1, we prepare you for common communication in the German-speaking world and focus on speaking. Learning basic German, which allows you to participate in simple conversations, ask questions and to be able to talk about yourself. In the written section you learn to read simple texts and to fill in simple forms. The topics come from everyday situations such as welcoming guests, talking about friends, family, food, drink, time, weekly routines etc. To cover the entire A1 level, several courses are required. Level A1 is defined by the European Council (see the European Reference Framework).

German A2

This language level is ideal for those who are able to communicate in basic situations in German but find that they quickly reach their limits in a simple conversation. Therefore, an expansion of language skills is required. In this German course, the topics are broadened, learning the following: leisure, personal plans, travel, tourist attractions and holiday situations, ordering food, in the hotel, interests, hobbies, work, clothes, shopping, describing people, informal entertainment and the weather. The focus is not just on learning the vocabulary of the topics, but also the communication strategies, how to talk about the past, ask questions, make suggestions, ordering items, announcing plans, etc. The course helps to improve your language skills as well as improving your grammar. To cover the entire A2 level, several courses are required. Level A2 is defined by the European Council (see the European Reference Framework).

German B1

In German B1, you learn practical German, which will enable you to take part in conversations about subjects that are familiar to you or relate to current events. Learn how to express your opinions and describe personal experiences. Become familiar with authentic texts from different areas of everyday life and learn to read relevant information. To cover the entire B1 level, several courses are required. Level B1 is defined by the European Council (see the European Reference Framework).

German B2

At German B2 level, you will learn how to react appropriately in demanding situations such as negotiations, lectures, specialised language, highly qualified job interviews, and more. Reading articles and reports on current situations and how to write detailed texts. The expansion of vocabulary is very important at this level. To cover the entire B2 level, several courses are required. Level B2 is defined by the European Council (see the European Reference Framework).

  • Individual training 5 x 90 min.: € 410,-
  • Courses available on request, at least 3 weeks before the exam.
  • The focus is on learning the test format. Participants should have achieved the German level required for the examination.
